DC Medical Bill Assistance

Consider getting local assistance with your medical bill payments. You may call (866) 346-2227 to schedule a financial counseling appointment with CCCS of Greater Washington or another NFCC agency.

You can also reduce your future medical bills by taking advantage of free or reduced cost medical clinics operating in the Washington DC

area:

  • The Anacostia Healthcare Center is free to low income families and has a sliding scale for those who can pay. Call (202) 610-7160.
  • Call (202) 265-2400 for the Zacchaeus Free Clinic. This clinic is provided through Bread for the City.
  • La ClĂnica del Pueblo has bilingual staff to help with medical care for those without health insurance. Call (202) 462-4788.

Medical care does not have to control your finances. Get help with your medical bills and take advantage of reduced cost medical providers to prevent becoming overwhelmed by medical bills. These nonprofit organizations serve the communities of Washington D.C.

One other option you have is to hire a medical billing advocate. This could be helpful if you have been overbilled and are responsible for a substantial portion of your bill. Amanda Simmons Associates can be contacted at 202-487-7889.
